Our Story
Precision Technology was founded by Patrick Gibson, an Electronic Engineer with extensive experience in multi-national environments across South Africa and the UK/Ireland.
Patrick’s early career was rooted in research and development, designing cutting-edge electronic systems and networking products. After completing his Masters of Electronic Engineering at the University of Cape Town in 1989, Patrick worked on advanced hardware design for fire detection, video conferencing, and Ethernet networking systems. He worked abroad for 11 years, earning several international patents along the way.
In 2004, he returned to South Africa and completed an MBA at UCT’s Graduate School of Business, combining technical excellence with business acumen.
The result was the creation of Precision Technology — a company that blends deep technical expertise with strategic understanding of clients’ needs.
